Retreat promotes empowering women through a unique getaway that offers

Seminars
are held with distinguished guest speakers, providing valuable insight
into issues of importance to women such as health, business and life.
Participants have time to work on personal projects; connect with other
women with similar life challenges and experiences; and feel physically
refreshed by their surroundings and leisure time activities.
Retreat
activities and speakers are chosen specifically to inspire, inform,
challenge, nurture and mentor participants. Diverse activites are also
offered at the resort and particpants can venture off the grounds for a
dolphin swim, horseback ride or a zip line through the jungle.

Schnieders MSN, NP
Julie Schnieders
is a Board Certified Women's Health Nurse
Practitioner. She joined St. Vincent from a private gynecological
practice where she worked for 17 years. Julie's passion is caring for
women, especially in the areas of pelvic health and incontinence,
breast health and menopause. Julie will be sharing information and
updates on women's health and will be glad to meet one-on-one with
participants who wish to discuss private health issues. |

Sheila Mishler, MSN, RN, PMHCNS-BC
Sheila Mishler brings an impressive resume to her job as Executive Director of the St. Vincent Stress Center, and she will share her expertise with you. Her credentials include
- Over 27 years as a medical professional
- Board certification as a psychiatric clinical nurse
- An assistant professorship with IU Schools of Medicine and Nursing
- International experience in diagnosing and treating mental health patients

Barbara Gilbert, CMF, CPBF, CEO
Barbara Gilbert created a path that allowed her to start a successful business while fulfilling her desire to help women who were having a health crisis. While receiving treatment for a congenital illness, Barb met women who were fighting breast cancer and found that they needed a safe, friendly environment to purchase post-surgical bras. With the goal of helping the women she met, she opened Barbara's New Beginnings.
She will share her story along with:
- ideas for connecting/networking others in the helping professions
- retaining core values and vision while navigating changing regulations
- selecting and managing inventory and
- being a sister/friend to every customer for every visit
Her success has allowed to her sponsor a variety of women's health events and earned her the 2010 Starkey Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year Award. |

Denise Halford Holder, CFP®
Denise is a Vice President, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and Founding Partner of the Legacy Wealth Group of David A. Noyes & Company. She has been chosen as Indianapolis Monthly's "FIVE STAR Best in Client Satisfaction Wealth Manager" for the past few years. Denise has 22 years of experience in the financial services industry. She specializes in wealth transition, financial & estate planning and portfolio management for families, institutions, endowments, and foundations. Denise began her career in the financial services industry in 1985 with Dean Witter Reynolds in Boston. She received her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Accounting from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marketing from Indiana University. In the local community, Denise is a current/past board member with Stanley K. Lacy Leadership Alumni, Network of Women in Business, IMA and many other organizations. Denise lives with her husband, son and cocker spaniel on Indianapolis' north side.

Charlotte Lippert, CFA
Charlotte leads the Investment Team at Bedel Financial Consulting, Inc. She is passionate about serving the firm's clients, educating investors, and promoting ethics and integrity in her industry. Charlotte was the 2007-2008 President of the CFA Society of Indianapolis and was instrumental in organizing the first INVESTIndiana conference as well as promoting awareness of the value of the CFA charter. Charlotte was awarded her CFA charter in 2002 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Ball State University in 1998. Charlotte's community activities have included the Muncie Jaycees, where she received both the Robert T. Meredith Memorial award for Outstanding New Member in 1998 and the Outstanding Local Officer award in 1999; The Fine Arts Society of Indianapolis; Girl Scouts; and Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Carmel. Charlotte's experience prior to joining the firm included managing individual stocks, fixed income, researching mutual funds, as well as managing her former firm's own mutual fund - the Signal Capital Tax Exempt Fund. Charlotte lives in Carmel, Indiana with her husband and daughter and enjoys running, weight training, ice-skating, and roller-blading. |

Cathy Boone-Black is a certified reflexologist, hypnotherapist and essential oil practitioner who will be available for private sessions. Using these techniques and practices, she can teach you how to manage your stress and the symptoms that accompany it.
Cathy consults on the following:
- Reflexology
- Use of essential oils
- NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP)
She wanted to share her successes with others as they deal with the stresses of life. She practices in Hamilton County.

Local artist, Melinda Spear-Huff will instruct us how to paint while sipping on grapes from the Gods. Each canvas will be an appropriate size to take home.
Melinda Spear-Huff's style has been described as Classic 19th Century Impressionism. She exhibits her work at Renditions Framing and The Hoosier Salon and has been commissioned by Martha Stewart, Riley Hospital for Children, The Indiana Governor's Residence along with other restaurants and retail chains. Melinda is a regular participant in the St. Margaret's Hospital Guild Decorators Show House on the design board from 2008-2010. She commutes to Vermont where her husband Matthew is serving full time as an Officer in the Army Reserve.
